 Micrologic
System Inc. is a systems integrator and manufacturer
of Radio-based Telemetry and SCADA
systems for water utilities, industrial parks, electric utilities,
mines, water treatment plants, etc.
The system allows the remote monitoring
and control of industrial facilities from a central location without
the need for cabling. Remote
sites utilize Remote Terminal Units, each consisting of a controller,
radio modem and the necessary interface to the site's instrumentation
equipment. The central station consist of a
Windows or UNIX-based computer,
Up to 250 sites can be networked using a single radio frequency with a maximum range of 40 km. Applications:
Micrologic's present SCADA user are: Metro Cebu Water District (MCWD) consisting of 26 remote pumping stations and reservoirs spread over three well fields. Cabanatuan City Water District (CCWD) consisting of 15 remote pumping stations and reservoirs. |
Man-Machine
Interface (MMI) software and a radio modem. The easy-to-use graphical
user interface permits personnel with minimum training to operate
the complete system. Data recording, alarm generation, trending
and graphical plots are some of the standard functions of the
MMI.
